Point Dendrometer
The Point Dendrometer is a potentiometer-based sensor designed for precise, automatic monitoring of stem diameter changes with sub-µm resolution, recorded at user-defined intervals. It also measures air temperature using a thermometer located in the lower part of the body.

That figure is for the electronics. The measurement probe is a mechanical part and does not last as long - in the field it can be fouled or bent, and there is little any point dendrometer can do about that. If the probe is damaged, the device still records air temperature for a long time afterwards.

Custom variants
The listed versions are what we keep as standard, but they are not the only thing we can build. Most of the range began exactly this way: the TMS, the Point Dendrometer and many of the variants exist because a research project needed something that did not exist yet.
